Thermal Insulation

By thermal insulation of a building,  we mean all the operations and systems which make it possible to avoid heat loss during winter and to maintain a cool temperature during the summer months. A well insulated -building avoids energy waste, reduces power consumption and increases the well being of indoor environment. The indicator for measuring heat loss from building elements is represented by the thermal transmittance index, also known as the U value. The lower the U value, the less energy will be lost and consequently there will be better heat insulation.

Choosing the right fixtures and glass for windows and doors is the first thing to do to avoid the dispersion of heat from indoor heating systems , and therefore the increase in expenditure. QUEMME produces a wide range of highly insulating doors and windows, fitted with high performance structures and low emissivity glass which ensure high levels of heat insulation.
